MR. JOHN-PAUL FALARDEAU, MA, (CDR, USN, Ret.), Chairman

JP Falardeau is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis (BS, History) and Brandman University (MA, Organizational Leadership).  He joined the CAFM Board of Directors in June 2023 and began as the school’s first fundraising coordinator.  JP is a retired naval officer and aviator who served in multiple leadership, staff, and flight instructor roles during his 22-year military career.  He is currently a corporate pilot-in-command with Aero Air Charter out of Pensacola.  JP and his wife, Sherer, have three young daughters and are parishioners at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

DR. WILLIAM M. HENDERSON, DVM, Treasurer

​Dr. Mike Henderson is a graduate of the University of West Florida (BS, Chemistry) and Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine.  As a school founder, he joined the CAFM Board of Directors at its inception in February 2023.  Having served as a veterinarian for over 42 years, Mike possesses extensive small-business experience from owning and operating his own practice.  Now semi-retired, Mike teaches biology and chemistry at CAFM and continues to serve in Church ministries and civic organizations.  Mike and his wife, Leslie, have six children and 14 grandchildren (two of whom attend CAFM) and are parishioners at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

 

​MR. PATRICK SCANLON, PMP, BA, Secretary

​Patrick Scanlon is a graduate of Christendom College (BA, Philosophy).  As a school founder, he joined the CAFM Board of Directors at its inception in February 2023 and currently serves as both board secretary and fundraising committee coordinator.  Patrick is a software development manager, bringing leadership experience from a wide range of software development and cloud architecture projects.  He currently works as a program manager with NV5, Inc.  Patrick and his wife, Laura, are parishioners at Holy Spirit Catholic Church and have three children, two of whom are students at CAFM. 

 

​MS. CATHERINE HAJCAK, CPM, MS, Board Member

​Catherine Hajcak is a graduate of Miami University (MS, Geology) and Kent State University (BS, Geology; BA, Applied Mathematics).  She joined the CAFM Board in February 2025 and serves as the board’s first Head of School Support Liaison.  Catherine is a certified project manager and former environmental consultant who investigated and remediated contaminated sites during her 25-year career.  She currently serves as the Event Scheduler and Executive Administrator at the National Naval Aviation Museum, and is an academic tutor at Pensacola State College.  Catherine is a parishioner at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel where she sings in the choir.

​MR. RYAN T. KEYS, (CAPT, USN, Ret.), MA, Board Member

Ryan Keys is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis (BS, English) and the Air War College (MA, National Security Studies).  He joined the CAFM Board of Directors in May 2026.  Ryan is a retired naval officer and aviator who served as commanding officer at the squadron and wing levels, as well as in various other leadership, staff, and flight instructor roles during his 29-year military career.  He is currently the Director for Operations & Strategy at the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation and he and his wife, Courtney, have two sons.  They are parishioners at The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

 

​MRS. CAROLYN SALAMIDA, MS, Board Member

​Carolyn Salamida is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio (BS, General Education) and St. John Fisher University (MS, Special Education).  She joined the CAFM Board of Directors in May 2026.  Serving as a Catholic school teacher since 2009, Carolyn is currently the Director of Morning Star and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Services at Sacred Heart Cathedral School where she also teaches middle school within the Morning Star program.  Carolyn and her husband, Tom, are parishioners at The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, and have two children, one of whom is a student at CAFM.  

 

​MR. CHARLIE JOHNSON, M.Ed. (Cand.), Head of School, ex officio Board Member

Charlie Johnson is a graduate of Luther Rice University (BA, Christian Apologetics) and holds a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spiritual Direction.  He is a candidate for a Master of Education in School Administration from the University of Mary, anticipated in December 2026.  Charlie joined the CAFM Board of Directors as an ex-officio member in his capacity as Head of School, having been part of the school's mission since its inaugural year in 2023, when he served as a teacher in the school's first year.  Charlie is an educator and school administrator dedicated to classical Catholic education and currently serves as Head of School at CAFM.  Charlie and his wife, Katie, have four children and are parishioners at St. Paul Catholic Church.

 

​DCN. DAVID ELL, (Colonel, USA, Ret.), MSS, ex officio Board Member

​Deacon David Ell is a graduate of the Citadel (BA, Business Administration & Management) and the United States Army War College (MSS, Strategic Studies).  He joined the CAFM Board of Directors at its inception in 2023 ​as an ex-officio member.  David is a retired army colonel who served in multiple leadership and high-level staff roles during his military career.  ​After serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Catholic Charities of Orlando, he now serves as the COO of the Catholic Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee.  David and his wife, Carolyn, have two grown children and are parishioners at The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart where he also serves as a permanent deacon (ordained by Bishop William A. Wack C.S.C. on January 5, 2025).

 

​REV. CHUCK COLLINS, ex officio Board Member

​Fr. Chuck Collins was ordained by Bishop John H. Ricard, SSJ, on May 20th, 2005 in Pensacola at The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, and was named parochial vicar for St. Dominic Parish in Panama City.  From there he went on to serve at St. Francis Parish in Blountstown, and then later became the pastor of St. Joseph Parish in downtown Pensacola.  In July of 2019 Fr. Chuck became pastor at St. Anne Parish in the Bellview area of Pensacola.  He truly cares for the spiritual needs of all the parishioners of St. Anne and aims to bring in new and fallen away members!
