Mrs. Triana Rougas

Mrs. Rougas discovered the truth of the Catholic Church during her junior year of high school, through a classical education similar to Chesterton Academy. Her experience with philosophy and ancient literature unlocked a desire to deepen her faith and education — this led her to pursue a higher education in English Writing & Editing from Franciscan University of Steubenville, where she earned her B.A.

Believing that literature is meant to be experienced and not merely read, Mrs. Rougas and her students can often be found outside reading aloud Shakespeare, arguing over the moral dilemmas within the Odyssey, or discussing philosophy under the sun. She strives to instill a love of learning in her students so they leave each class with sharper minds, richer imaginations, and a deeper love of truth, goodness, and beauty.
